William Willard "Wickey" Jenkins

William Willard "Wickey" Jenkins, 70, husband of Lula Jo Jenkins, died Monday, March 29, 2021, at MUSC Health in Florence.

Mr. Jenkins was born on December 12, 1950 in Spartanburg, SC, son of the late William E. Jenkins and Lucille Hudson Jenkins. He was a retired plant manager at US Blades in Florence. Wickey was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed racing, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Lula Jo Yarborough Jenkins of Scranton; sons, William Wayco Jenkins and Rusty G. Jenkins, both of Scranton; grandchildren, Dylan Jenkins, Reed Jenkins, Cambell Jenkins, Walker Jenkins, Kaydee Jenkins and McKenzi Jenkins; sisters, Geraldine (J.R.) Freeman and Barbara (Randy) Yarborough, both of Darlington; and brothers, Andy Jenkins and Fred Jenkins, both of Darlington.

Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by two sons, "The Jenkins Boys" and a sister, Linda Gayle (Buddy) Williams.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Yarborough Cemetery, Scranton.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the funeral home.

Due to COVID-19, the family requests for everyone to wear a mask and please maintain the 6 foot social distancing. The family also requests everyone to please refrain from hand shaking and hugging one another.
