Wallace Anthony (Tony) McKenzie, 70, of Lake City, husband of Pam Dennis McKenzie died Friday, September 24, 2021, at McLeod Hospital in Florence.
Mr. McKenzie was born on March 8, 1951, in Clarendon County, son of the late William Archie McKenzie and Odessa Floyd McKenzie. He was an example of a true servant in all he did for his family, church, work associates and neighbors. He served his Lord and Savior in a variety of ways as a member of Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church for almost 50 years. Tony retired from Universal Leaf after many years of employment and later Nutrien in 2021 after 18 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Pam Dennis McKenzie of Lake City; son, Bryce (Rachel) Mckenzie of Lake City; daughter, Andrea (Blake) Owens of Lake City; grandchildren, Kerrigan McKenzie, Abel Ammons, Dessa Owens, Reed Owens, and a special step granddaughter Miss Emily Ard; brother, Rev. James W. (Violet) McKenzie, Larry (Dale) McKenzie, sister, Bobbie M. (James) Goude, all of Lake City, sister, Kay (Dave) Blue of Charlotte, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews. His deep love for his children and grandchildren marked his life. He was lovingly known as Poppi to them, and his meek and humble personality made him loved and respected by many.
Mr. McKenzie was preceded in death by his brother, David G. McKenzie and his parents.

Funeral services will be, 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church, with visitation to follow after services in foyer of church.
Burial will be private.
