Terry Miles

David Terrance “Terry” Miles, 72, husband of late Catherine Hill Miles, died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at his home in Coward.

Terry was born on July 7, 1949, in Florence County, son of the late Edward David Miles and Lillie Mae Evans Miles. He was a graduate of Hannah-Pamplico High School and was a faithful member of Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. Terry was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam where he earned the National Defense Service Metal and the Sharp Shooter Metal. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda L (Harrison) Plunkett of Coward; grandchildren, Bryson and Isabella Plunkett; brother, Johnny Miles of Florence; sisters, Sharon Tanner of Coward and Debbie (Larry) Baxley of Scranton.

Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Dean “Pee Wee” Miles and Vinson Miles; grandparents, Albert and Pauline Evans.  

Graveside services with Military Honors will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Friendfield P.H. Church Cemetery, Scranton.
