Sheri Denise (Buddin) Tisdale

Sheri Denise Tisdale, 57, wife of Rudy Tisdale, died Sunday, September 26, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Tisdale was born on November 7, 1963, in Savannah, Georgia, daughter of the late William A. Buddin and Rebecca Ann Gilliam Buddin. She was a graduate of Lake City High School and Williamsburg Technical College. Sheri was a Licensed Practical nurse in South Carolina and Tennessee. She served as the Healthcare Authority with the Williamsburg County Detention Center, and was the first nurse to be employed with Williamsburg Academy. She was formerly with the Williamsburg County EMS.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Rudy Tisdale of Kingstree, are her children,  Chelsea Katelyn "Katie" Rice of Lake City and Cody William Tyler (Logan) Rice of Scranton; step-son, Dakota Austin Tisdale of Kingstree; sister, Melanie Buddin Hyatt of Lake City; nieces, Leah Hyatt and Anna Hyatt.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the funeral home.
