Sharon Sullivan

Miss Betty Sharon Sullivan, 64, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at MUSC Health Marion Medical Center.

Sharon was born on June 2, 1959, in Florence County, daughter of the late William Alton “Bo” Sullivan and Doris Beatrice McGee Sullivan Carraway & Eulon “Tom” Carraway. She was a graduate of J. C. Lynch High School and attended New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was formerly employed with K Mart in Florence for 15 years, Unique Cakes in Florence, and worked in the cafeteria at the Methodist Manor.

Surviving are nieces, Connie Pate McCrea Bandy (Rick) of Conway, AR, Wanda Pate Trammel (David) of Florence, Jessica Carraway Christmas (Timmy) and Allyson Carraway (David) both of Coward; nephew, Shan Fenrick Pate (Sarah) of Coward; great nieces, Samantha Trammel of Florence, Bethany Pate of Georgetown,  Brooke Christmas and Baylee Christmas both of Coward; great nephews, Michael Christian McCrea of Conway, AR, Noah Trammel (Kaitlyn) and Nicholas Trammel, both of Florence, Devin Pate (Melinda) of Johnsonville, and Dalton Pate of Coward; great-great niece, Mercy Pate of Johnsonville; former sister-in-law, Faye Knight of Coward.

Sharon was preceded in death by mother, Doris Beatrice McGee Carraway; father, Eulon “Tom” Carraway;  biological father, William Alton “Bo” Sullivan; siblings, Thomas Edwin Carraway, Frances Carraway Pate and Allen Mitchell “Gator” Carraway; brother-in-law, F. S. “Terry” Pate; twin great nephews, Brannon and Cameron McCrea; uncle, Paul Edwin McGee; aunt, Mary Buena McGee.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 4:30 PM, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Mossy Grove Cemetery, Coward, SC.
