Rose Marie Evans

Rose Marie Evans, 59, died Thursday, July 22, 2021, at her home after an extended illness.

Mrs. Evans was born on October 19, 1961, in Florence County, daughter of the late James “Darby” Evans and Roxane Hanna Evans. Rose Marie worked for McLeod Regional Medical Center as a CNA for 10 years and for Walmart for 15 years. She was a very generous person, who loved her family, especially her grandkids. Rose Marie loved her sweetie, Kerry Evans. She also leaves behind her pet companion, “Star” that she adored. Rose Marie was of the Christian faith, loved to help people and always had a smile.

Surviving are her daughter, Hanna Matthews of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Cadence Matthews and River Matthews; sister, Sharon (Rusty) Stone of Johnsonville; brother, Bryan Evans of Florence.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends following the service, July 25, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Home.
