Michelle Flowers Burgess

Michelle Flowers Burgess, 41, wife of Dusty Burgess, died Friday, July 1, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, after an illness.

Michelle was born on November 17, 1980, in Williamsburg County, daughter of Mack O. Flowers and Valerie Miles Flowers. She was a graduate of Kingstree High School and was a member of New Beginning Holiness Church.

Surviving is her husband, Lavern “Dusty” Burgess, her parents, Mack and Valerie Flowers; sister-in-law, Kim Dennis Flowers; nieces, Brittany (Matthew) Clegg, Michaela Flowers; nephew, Michael O. “Mikie” (Savannah) Flowers; great nieces, Maggie Mae Clegg, Emmie Grace Flowers and great nephews,  Kinley Clegg and Mackie Clegg.

Michelle was preceded in death by her brother, Reverend Michael Odell “Bunky” Flowers

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at New Beginning Holiness Church, Scranton. Burial will follow in New Hope Christian Church Cemetery, New Zion.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at New Beginning Holiness Church, Scranton.
