Mary Grace Carsten

Mary Grace Carsten, 70, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at MUSC Health in Florence.

Mary Grace was born on August 10, 1951 in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late Robert Benjamin Carsten, Sr. and Maleese Prosser Carsten. She was a member of Cades United Methodist Church. Mary Grace was retired from Florence County School District Three and later retired from Dollar General as Manager.

Surviving are her children, Nikki (Larry) Dennis of Darlington and Neil (Christina) Vause of Cades; grandchildren, John (Gabby) Dennis, Austin Dennis, Katie Dennis, Hannah Dennis, Jonathan Vause, Bradley Vause and Caitlyn McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Archer Dennis, Kinsley Lesesne and Brayley Dennis; her special fur baby, Ben; siblings, Curtis (Rosina) Feagin, Woodrow (Frances) Feagin, Benny Carsten and Eddie (Donna) Carsten; numerous nieces and nephews; special sister, Annette "Tweetie" Henneghan; and special daughter, Candy Wallace.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, September 20, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton. Burial will follow at Carsten-Sauls Cemetery, Cades.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday, September 20, 2021, at the funeral home.
