LeRoy Hucks Obituary
William LeRoy Hucks, 76, husband of Mary Bazen Hucks passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Mr. Hucks was born on January 23, 1946, son of the late Burgan Hucks and Josie Woodberry Hucks. He retired with Rock-Tenn Smurfit-Stone after 30 years as a maintenance electrician. LeRoy was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a follower of Shepherd’s Chapel.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary of 53 years, are children, Eric (Tiffanie) Hucks of Murrells Inlet and Amanda Locklair of Pamplico; grandchildren, Kasee (Trevor) Haugen, Cody (Mary Kate) Hucks, Cain (Ansley Eaddy) Hucks, Kaylyn Hucks, Hayden Locklair and Bazen Locklair; siblings, Kitty Abrams of Myrtle Beach, Gladys Pope of Conway, Christine Cameron of Hemingway, Joanne (Elwyn) Scott of Kingstree, W. L. (Jo) Hucks of Conway and Clarence Hucks of Laurens.
LeRoy was preceded in death by siblings; Lacy Hucks, Ernest Hucks, Bertha Abrams and Lib Webb.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, Pamplico. Burial with Military Honors will follow at church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
