Kenneth Dewey Young

Kenneth Dewey Young, 85, of Lake City, husband of Lena Curry Young, died Friday, December 2, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Young was born on February 1, 1937, in Florence County, son of the late George Dewey Young and Allie Lee Rodgers Young. He was a member of Scranton United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 62 years, Lena Curry Young of Lake City; children, William “Billy” (Tammie) Young of Lake City, Cynthia Young (Curt) Harbuck of Roebuck and Pam Young (Stephen) Pace of Lake City; grandchildren, Brandon Pace, Amanda Pace, Michael Pace, Allie Harbuck, Caitlin Harbuck and Abby Young; great granddaughter, Ramona.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by brothers, I.V. Young, Charlie Young and Fryston Young.

Graveside services will be 1:30 PM, Sunday, December 4, 2022, at E.V. Gaskins Family Cemetery, Lake City.

The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the cemetery.
