Joe "J.D." Livingston

Joe "J.D." Livingston, 61, husband of Kimberly Bryant Livingston, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Livingston was born on November 27, 1959 in Lakeland, FL. He was a graduate of the Police Academy of South Carolina and proudly served Georgetown County for 13 years.  Joe enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a skilled handyman and worked hard in his community. Joe loved trains, his family and spending time with his grandchild. He always made everyone feel welcome and will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.

Surviving are his wife, Kimberly Bryant Livingston of Lake City; daughter, Sandra (Mike) Lowery of Charles Town, WV, sons, Kyle (Morgan) Coker of Lake City, Hunter Coker of Georgetown, Michael Livingston of Charles Town, WV and Cody (Victoria) Livingston of Lake City; granddaughter, Raeliegh Coker; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

Mr. Livingston was preceded in death by his son, David; a grandchild, and his father and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Vivaree Bryant.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.  

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, May 31, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
