James "Boo" Edward Beard, Jr.

James Edward “Boo” Beard, Jr, 40, died Saturday, June 26, 2022 at his home in Olanta.

Boo was born on May 19, 1982, in Florence County, son of James Edward Beard, Sr and Lisa Tucker Beard. He was an Associate with Beards Electric Heating and Cooling and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving in addition to his parents, James and Lisa Beard of Olanta, are his children, James Arvin Beard and Destiny Lynn Beard, both of Olanta; sister, Chasidy Beard (Scott) Reardon of Olanta; fiancé, Michelle Carraway of Olanta; paternal grandmother, Anease Wilkes of Olanta; niece, Abbygail Reardon; nephew, Wynston Reardon of Olanta; and LuLu, his dog.  

Boo was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bobby and Luella Tucker; paternal grandfather, Billy Beard.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Horsebranch Cemetery, Turbeville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
