Harvey Cahoon Obituary
Stuart Cahoon, 57, husband of the late Barbara Lee Byrd-Cahoon, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at MUSC Health in Florence.
Stuart was born on September 15, 1963 in Suffern, NY, son of Ronald Cahoon and the late Catherine Conkin Cahoon. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired police officer. Stuart was the founder and administrator of Light House for Lupus. He was an avid supporter of the military, law enforcement and first responders. Stuart loved spending time with his dogs and golfing.
Surviving are his son, Andrew (Nicole) Cahoon of NC; daughter, Kristen (Daniel) Coburn of KS; brother, Edward Cahoon of NY; and sister, Kimberly Cahoon of NY; and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home.
