Eleanor Lynch Obituary
Eleanor Maria Polloni Lynch, 91, widow of Edgar L. Lynch, Jr., died Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence.
Mrs. Lynch was born on May 31, 1931, daughter of the late Peter Polloni and Ruth Maria Zettergren Polloni.
Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia (Evans) Newell of Kennesaw, GA and Ms. Cheryl Sherman of Scranton; son, Christopher Lynch of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Ashleigh N. (Matt) Wojslawowicz of Charleston, John (Mary) Newell of Cleveland, GA, Jessica (Kevin) Cromer of Commerce, GA, Kristal Sherman of Scranton, Ruby Sherman of Scranton and Collins Sherman of Scranton; great granddaughter, Riley Cromer; brother, Chris (Pam) Polloni of Falmouth, MA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by a son, Robert Edgar Lynch; son-in-law, James Sherman; brothers, Peter Polloni, Sr and John Polloni.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Coward Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
