Angelina Wheeler Cisneros

Angelina Marie Wheeler Cisneros, 28, wife of Jon Wheeler, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee.  

Angelina was born on December 25, 1994, in Florence County, daughter of Merle J. Cisneros, Jr. and Lula Mae Mims. She was a 2013 graduate of South Florence High School, a registered pharmacy technician, RPhT, previously worked for Polly Ann’s Florist in Kingstree and was currently a pre-school Assistant with Williamsburg Academy in Kingstree. Angelina loved children, sports, animals and the beach. She was a proud mother of her little “Sunshine’s” and she loved to spend Jon’s money on shopping trips and chick-fil-a. Angelina had the biggest personality, the sweetest smile and a contagious laughter.

Surviving are her husband, Jon Wheeler; sons, Carson Hilton and Owen Wheeler; newborn daughter, Daphne Wheeler; mother, Lula Mae Mims (fiancé, Devin Hanna); father, Merle J. Cisneros, Jr.; uncle, Danny Richard (Melannie) Mims; cousins, Rich Mims, Thomas Mims, Noah Mims, Krista Parker and Luis Fernandez; aunt, Angie (Rufino) Fernandez; several aunts, uncles and cousins from the Midwest area.

Angelina was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Milton Wheeler; mother-in-law, Denise Ann Wheeler; maternal grandparents, Richard Mims and Eula Mims; paternal grandparents, Merle Cisneros, Sr. and Angelina Cisneros.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 29, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Lake City Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home.
